Oct 26 is a successful, online project management software-as-a-service with thousands of paying customers, like NASA and the United Nations, who use our platform to manage projects. We are scaling our paid advertising and organic marketing teams and need a “Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager” to continue to fuel growth.


The CRO Manager is responsible for the “optimization for conversion” of all paid and organic landing pages, in addition to all other web pages on our site,


  • Volume: To dramatically scale the volume of free trials for our software
  • Quality: To continually improve on the quality of those free trial leads, by focusing on our target market


With more than 1 million unique visitors to our website per month, you will have an enormous opportunity to impact the bottom line for our business, through smart traffic-to-lead conversion optimization. You will be responsible for:

  • Creating a CRO strategy for the entire business
  • Mapping out all of the traffic sources and funnels taking place on our website
  • Creating Buyer Funnel Journey Maps, showing the stages in the funnel that visitors need to pass through, to move from visitor to trialist
  • Working with the Organic and Paid Marketing Directors to restructure the content on the website, to be optimal for conversions
  • Collaborating with the creative content team to restructure the layout and design of all of the top pages on our web site, to boost their conversion rates
  • Interacting with the paid advertising team to optimize all paid landing pages, and to further increase their conversion rates
  • Developing a prioritization, tracking, and reporting system for A/B tests to prove out new ideas
  • Leading optimization programs that embrace a continuous cycle of iterative testing: designing roadmaps, running 50/50 multivariate tests, analysis, generating insights, calculating business impact
  • Monitoring and tracking the success of all tests and changes made, so that we're always moving one step ahead

As CRO Manager, you will own CRO for the entire business. This responsibility allows you to create ideas and roll them out rapidly, empowering you to achieve success quickly. Whether it’s working with the Marketing Directors and CEO on strategy, or rolling out tracking to ensure that your tests are implemented efficiently, your ideas and inputs will be greatly valued.

Skills & Experience

  • Conversion Rate Optimization for at least one successful website
  • 5+ years of experience creating CRO strategies and rolling out tactics
  • Thorough understanding of buyer journey mapping and traffic funneling tactics
  • Extensive landing page testing experience with proven results
  • Expertise with tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and stakeholder feedback to uncover A/B test opportunities
  • Ability to project manage an idea end-to-end
  • Ability to track, measure and analyze CRO results using business data from various sources
  • Familiarity with leading testing platforms such as VWO
  • Established and proven CRO methodology you abide by
  • Familiar with various marketing channels, both paid and non-paid
